Dear Mrs. Lauren,
First, spare me your arrogant solipsism! Are you on the board of directors of the Pulitzer Prize? I saw you're a Belle from Mississippi, who is a professional and LIFETIME STUDENT who attended Jones College, University of Nebraska-Lincoln, Washington Center, Duke University, U. Mass Amherst, and North Carolina!
And how many Pulitzer Prizes, Mrs. Eileen Lauren, have you garnered with all that education? Oh, just nominated. Do you think you need more education? My point and remarks on Kendrick Lamar were again defended. He's everything wrong in America, yammering about his East Coast versus West Coast Rap wars. And his diction-mangled yawp of all the Hollywood pedophiles he's hanged around with that no American Citizen gives one damn about. And none of them go to jail.
My point is that you MISSED or MISREAD what I was attempting to convey. Just because of some gang killer and so-called Rapper who has an album or two about his thug life as a GANG MEMBER.
Here’s a transcript of HIS WORDS:
“These are my experiences. When I say “gangbangin” made me kill a nigga blacker than me, this is my life I'm talking about. I'm not speaking to the community, or of the community. I am the community. If I told you I killed somebody when I was 16, would you believe me?
Everything he said. How is the Pulitzer Prize Academy awarding a thug and gangbanger rapper the ultimate Prize in Music, who has about as much of an education as a beetle dung? Again, this rapper can't compose a musical note even if you give him a library.
Again, I demand that the Pulitzer Prize rescind its Award from Kendrick Lamar because awarding killers isn't right and sets a bad precedent for other hard-working Musicians, Songwriters, and Composers.
Do your research on matters before doling out laurels to unfit awardees!
Sincerely,
John Hardesty
Addendum: Thanks for responding, Mrs. Lauren.
