Ten Years

In ten years wars can be conquered and lost,

Families can lose their sire's lineage 

Whilst kings and queens tally the plunder

The fatuity of death’s percentage. 

In ten years wives can bear enough children 

To fill an endless ephemeral vacuum 

Yet, to lapse within 

 

Where shepherds pray to stars, 

Religion with all its vulgarity

Killing all objectors 

Whilst Scholars vie singularity. 

Hebrews read and obey the Talmud,
